Data deletion instructions
Last updated 17 October 2026
You can ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next.
How to request deletion
- Email hello@theishe.online with the subject "Delete my data".
- Tell us the email address, or the platform and account name or ID (for example a Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest or Bluesky handle), that the data relates to. If you can, send the request from that email address or mention it from that account, so we can confirm it is yours.
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days, delete the data within 30 days, and email you a confirmation when it is done.
What we delete
- any copy we hold of comments, replies or messages you posted on the company's own social media content;
- any account names, identifiers or profile details of yours that our publishing tool received from a platform;
- emails and correspondence with you, unless we must keep them for a legal claim;
- if you administer one of the company's connected accounts and it is disconnected: its access tokens, which are revoked with the platform and deleted, and its cached account details.
The only data we may have to keep is what the law requires, such as payment and accounting records, which UK tax law requires us to hold for 6 years. If we have to keep anything, we will tell you what and why.
Removing access from the platform side
Our publishing tool connects only to the company's own accounts. If you have connected an account to it, you can also remove its access directly from the platform at any time, which stops all further data reaching us:
- Google and YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Facebook, Instagram and Threads: Settings, then "Business integrations" or "Apps and websites"
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security, then "Manage app permissions"
- LinkedIn: Settings, then Data privacy, then "Permitted services"
- Pinterest: Settings, then Security and logins, then "Apps"
- Bluesky: Settings, then Privacy and security, then "App passwords" or connected apps
Once access is removed, we delete the tokens and cached details for that account the next time the tool checks the connection, and within 30 days at most.
